Oil prices fell 11 per cent this week - the sharpest weekly decline since January - after a poor U.S. consumer sentiment report revived fears about the economy. Oil futures settled at $59.89 (U.S.), down 52 cents. Gold fell 2 per cent this week, closing yesterday at $912.50 an ounce.
