News release???

Everyone seems to be trying to decipher what is actually being said in this news release about having no news. It means nothing.

Think about it. There has been a huge increase in both SP ande volume today. Naturally, the exchange has asked NOT to comment on this, as it should. NOT then has a choice; It has news to disseminate but hasn't, or it has no news. If it admits that it has news, it is in trouble for letting the SP run away on rumors, while it withheld the news. If it has news but is not ready to release it, It is also admitting responsibility for letting rumors do their thing.

Once they were asked by the exchange for comments, they had absolutely no choice but to state what they did. That resets the bar and now they can proceed and release news as they see fit (tomorrow).
