It has been a while since I lasted posted to this forum.
The history of this forum and Agoracom's past issues have been well and exhaustively detailed and I will not soon again return to it. Certainly a little older, and hopefully a little wiser, I tentatively return to this forum with the following thought:
Noront's the thing.
Always has been.
So many past distractions to turn one's eyes away from what is, and has always been, the remarkable story of our little company in the northern wilds of Ontario.
So many opportunities presented to stray from the discipline and patience required to see this through. To stubbornly hold onto one's shares as their paper value shrinks even as their true value increases. To laugh off the devious attempts by market manipulators who endlessly try to convince you that commodities are worthless, that the sky is falling, and that you are foolish for not heeding their warnings.
And all within the context of the global market seemingly falling off the cliff into oblivion.
But the drills of our little company keep turning.
And we remain transfixed by what, in our most private moments, we allow ourselves to acknowledge.
This is most likely a major find of historical significance.
And nobody has the power to change that.
The buzzing of the rumour mill can wake those of us who have found peace in deep slumber. At the same time, rumours are only rumours and we have been cautioned by our management not to leap to conclusions. Sound advice.
My preference is to take note of the rumours, but not act on them. I am frankly more impressed with the actual contents of the last substantive news release which suggests to me that Eagle One is maturing with age, growing larger, and may soon be ready to take flight.
It appears that others may share that view.
As always, I do not take much heed of the goings on in the daily market, although, the last week has shown some encouraging interest.
I continue to believe that it will be some time before the full extent of this discovery is revealed. We have many more holes to drill, and it looks as if those holes will get progressively deeper and more complex.
What I do find encouraging is the timing of this progress. Whereas others might despair that the market will not fully respond to positive news given the global economic uncertainty, I believe that the market is ready and eager for a good news story; something to which the public can hitch its wagon and be pulled out of the muck and darkness that has been the last six months.
I believe that Noront may be that story.
I always have.
Good luck with the pending assays.
Wake me up at $20.00
