Message: Re: General meeting with retail investor rep

An easy thing to accomplish if the present board is onside with it, but almost impossible if they are against it. It would then amount to a big an issue as the proxy vote thing.

The second problem is who to elect to the position. In order to be a factor on the BOD, the person would have to be prepared to exercise their votes to the betterment of the company at all times, and as such may find themselves acting in such a way that it seemed against the retail investor. If said person was acting in the interests of retail, in a fashion that the rest of the board considered to not be in the interest of the company, the person could find themselves ostracized (sp).

I have tried to fulfil the described position on two separate occasions in the past, and I would pity anyone who thought they could do an effective job.

Regards
