Hey Edgy......Gold IS tricky. This type of deposit (vein) is one of the trickiest. Visible gold does not necessarily equate to MORE gold. Assays are subject to the 'nugget effect'.....in otherwords, unreliable for an over all assessment of grade. The veins can pinch and squeeze into nothing then show up some distance away......your lucky to get a consistant width and strike in vein mining. A drill hole 5 feet away from 52oz could very likely have very little gold....nature of the beast. Gold is found in so many different types of deposits that the old timers use to say "gold is where you find it".

I think it is VERY possible that management did the right thing here, given resources need to be used on ROF. Windfall may or may not prove up...let someone else try it. It will need a LOT of drilling.

I have to admit tho', in this world of huge money, that we may have thrown the baby out with the bathwater.
