First of all, it appears that you are mixing posts of others in with your response to mine. I never "knocked" Old Joe, and I never will. He may be cantankerous at times, but we are in complete agreement about his knowledge and wisdom. That was another poster that did the "knocking". Just trying to set the record straight.

And I must not have expressed myself well in my post about *relative* concentrations, which was my main point, comparing gold at .03% to nickel at 6% to Chromite at 40%. There have been many posts on this board about gold mining techniques and analysis of what might be applicable to WF. My recollection is that there cannot be an open pit due to environmental concerns. That's one of the main reasons why Noront built the ramp in the first place. So that means following whatever seams can be found. Again, my recollection from the postings on this board is that this is the most expensive form of recovery. Beyond the "visible matrix" that we got a report of on the ramp (with pictures of RN looking right at it), and the initial assay report of the 52oz/ton Au, we know nothing more.

It's pretty obvious that I am frustrated with this situation. It was entirely avoidable.
