Sorry Dvdgray about not making the distinction. regarding Old Joe. I am reading too many posts and responding to too many in any one of my postings. Yes I was refering to the other poster and should have labeled it as such.

I have most often found comments that shaft operations are most expensive what ever the metal. Next is ramp and pit the cheapest. Pits for shallow resources.

Ramp is for shallow but veined because one can have narrow corridors from the ramp to the veins but truck it out per ramp. ECU silver in Mexico uses ramp method for their veins. Any how, just some backgroung info.
