I agree with you, consultants who are good, charge lots of cash. Remember as a consultant Dr Mungall can hire himself out to any ROF company and really get a understanding of the whole ROF. As an employee of NOT he would be controlled by NOT management and BOD. I am not saying I know Dr Mungall's status in the company I just agree that there are personal benefits to being a consultant verses a NOT employee.
