Voisey's Bay is on salt water and that makes a world of difference for bulk shipping. ROF's future infrastructure might be greatly enhanced if it could include a nearby outlet on James Bay. Churchill on Hudson's Bay works for seasonal shipping of stockpiled bulk product. Does anyone know if there is enough depth for a James Bay shipping channel? Or is this a dead horse? Certainly the concept is exciting; beats rail for the chromite which in the long run might be the big economic boost Northern Ontario so desperately needs.
