May 9, 1995 - Geologists estimate the Ovoid Section of Voisey's bay contains approximately 25m Tonnes of ore at (my estimate of presumption at the time) 2.75% nickel. The Eastern Deeps have not yet been discovered, nor has Reid Brook Zone. Share Price is $56/share, and by June 8, 1995 moves to $80/share. With an estimated 25,000,000 shares outstanding:

Market Valuation:

$ 1,400,000,000.00 Approximate Market Cap to $ 2,000,000,000.00

and given an estimated

1,512,500,000 lbs Ni

This works out to $.92/lb to $1.32/lb of Ni in Market Valuation.

Given the spot rate of Ni in 1995 which held at approximately $4.00 for most of that year. We could also say that the market valued Diamond Fields at 23% to 33% of the spot rate of Nickel.
