Today was pretty interesting for NR's.

First out of the gates was BMK, all of a sudden they see the "potential" of the RoF again, and are going to concentrate their efforts in and around the area of Noront's Eagle 1. Then they acknowledge the significant finds of area players like SPQ and FWR, and almost in the same breath say "Oh yeah, and that mineralization will most likely cross onto our properties as well"

They also missed no opportunity to tie in the FNC possibilities as well.

Next for NR was KWG and the anouncement that there will be a 1.5 billion dollar mine. So what...is what the market seemed to say to that.

Next was FWR with announcements that they found more chromium ( yawn) and have had some success chasing the Ni/Cu. Again, price softens even with the news that the JV with Noront will be going ahead in the fall.

And then we have the Noront naysayers telling us they shorted the stock, but haven't got their marching orders to buy back yet. But even that changed within the hour.

Makes me wonder, although there are some weak hands out there, just how many more shares the stubborn perma-bull Noront shareholders have managed to accumulate?

I would think the market needs time to absorb all the ramifications of these NR's, and when the weak hands are gone, we may see a new round of buying, especially if we get any news from Noront about further drill holes.

I suppose those players who aren't in the privileged inner circle of information don't even know what to do. "Short! It's overbought!" "No, wait, cover 20 cents later!" "Now buy it back! News could be coming!" Now that the table has been set for the elite players like Clarus and others, these other guys might well find themselves in the dark, so to speak.

I'm in it for the long haul, so I don't have such neuroses as these. If I'm in the red for a month or two, I can live with it.
