Right on khareema. Right on. No one thought of "Sell the Company" until the Proxy vote came into the picture. Now I think many of us have resigned ourselves that this new BOD will be directed to sell by their puppeteer Hedge Fund management at the time that best serves the Hedge Fund and not anyone else (especially the retail investors).
We as retail investors want what we've always wanted. The Motherlode and full value for it....and to be able to mine it for years to come. Once the mine becomes 'huge" then a fair sale price might be considered if NOT and its partners can't handle working it to the finished product and beyond. That time is a few years away and until then mention of selling NOT should NOT even be a whisper around here.
Even if we were to get $10.00 from a reputable company our share base would be so diluted into the bigger company that any upside would be greatly reduced in the investment we have made. The volatility factor would also be reduced substantially....but why are we here again? We are here dealing with a speculative mining play that has given us signs of exceptional future return. Why would we want the Hedgies to take that away like they did with Aurelian? For that matter....why are we in this Long if the Hedgies are playing it Long and Short with a dollar value likely already placed on it.
