A number of posters seem to think that it is necessary to take over the whole area or most of it for things to work out. Had one company originally staked it in advance of the others, it certainly would have been nice. However, this area is so large it is inconceivable that one entity should control it. There are certainly other mines of the same or smaller size as some of the land holdings in the ROF, and they operate independently within the same region as each other, not having had to be amalgmated into one company in order to become commercially viable. That kind of dilution would make it impractical. They could certainly form a cooperative in dealing with infrastructure and any other ends that would be mutually beneficial.
