stop losses and manipulation

It is my opiinion that the sp is being driven down, at least in part by investors who are using stop losses. I do not have any hard data to support it but here is my theory:

In the world of large cap stocks it is vertually impossible for one, or few, persons to move the maket in order to drive the price down to the stop loss levels available to view on level 2.

However, in the small cap world, a few people with nasty intentions can view stop losses and drive the price down until the shares are taken out. It happened to me when I did not know any better. I believe these manipulators are doing this over and over - they can read this board, judge the amount of nervousness and go on the attack when the sp is going sideways or drifting down.
