A Couple Thoughts

For the record, I was hopeful of seeing a sizable step-out to the tune of roughly 200 metres (taking into account the Dundee report and all) I guess I'll just have to keep my hopes a little more in check. :)

Having said that, it is still early in the game with respect to E1B and E1C not to mention a potential sizable step-out in the future. For those of you who were around during the deliniation of E1A, you will recollect that there were hits and there were misses. If my memory serves me correctly, there were a total of 35 holes punched in E1A with a total of 27 hits for a hit to miss ratio of 27/35 or 77%. For E1B and E1C including hole 49, we have a hit to miss ratio of 7/10 or 70%. This is certainly respectable in light of Jeremy Niemi's quote of the conditions being challanging especially considering the depth. Nice to see that we have a drill with 1500 metre capability on site as well directional drilling equipment. Also like the comment that additional drill"S" capable of drilling in excess of 1,500 metres will be singing in the winter program.

With respect to the trading today, I do find it interesting that none of the Institutions were hiding behind the cloak of Anonymous and selling. Anon today was a net buyer. (although yesterday they were a net seller) As I said interesting, not telling as quite frankly I am not certain as to what market reaction will be tomorrow but my gut tells me we will see some selling.

Not sure how many of you have done the math to determine just how long assays appear to be taking. At the ROF golf tourney, it was stated that NOT was in the high 60's in holes drilled. Therefore, apparently it is taking roughly 4 days to drill each hole. (hole 49 done near end of July) In today's N/R we had assay results for hole 58 which would have been completed roughly on August 10. Recognizing that Noront prefers to release results in batches, we likely will not see any other assay results for some time but I will not discount the possibilty of shortly getting some other material releases.

Frank, apparently your source is credible. Good call on the after hours release today. Hoov, if you can shed any additional geo expertise on today's N/R I would be very appreciate and you know most here would as well. (I read the release without recognizing the fact that the two holes drilled from the east were not consistent in which mineralization they encountered first)

Finally, as I am a numbers guy, I thought I would include today's assay results in the calculation of a weighted average grade comparision. The weighted average grade comparison for E1A, E1B and E1C are as follows:
