I can empathize with your concerns regarding NOT in general.
Like yourself, I have not sold one share in Noront. My average price is $4.91, however, I did move my wife's money in February 2008. My investment is so far behind, I think it's in first! If we were to combiine these portfolio's, we would be even, however, we don't. So it's crow I eat for the time being.
I have always held long on most investments, this one included. As an example, I've owned 5 houses life. If I sold my investment (house) everytime it went down in value, I probably would be renting today. often time people don't equate patience and time value and money value to thier house as it does provide an alternative need such as shelter.
You will always have "flippers" in the market. They provide liquidity at a time when it may be needed. If one wants to sit at desk with 3 or 4 screens every day and make some money, i say go for it! I'd rather golf!
Noront in "my" opinion is a looong term hold, with some opportunities along the way to make a few bucks by moving money around. I don't do this, can't be bothered.
An old" Cliche" that I have followed for years is that patience is the strongest form of action a person can take. This bodes well for this stock.
Crazy prices right now, somewhat orchestrated for the dog and pony show next week? time will tell.
have a great day everyone....Fast.
