Bravo Sum4All for a most sobbering post.

I only say that I would put more emphasis on the discipline part of the three in your suggestion. That is probably the most important aspect.

I also take profits but limited by spare cash, I gamble with no more than 10 percent of my large holds and a maximum of 50 percent of my smallest holds. NOT being medium hold so about 20 percent. Profits go into more wine for me to cheer me up during share price depressions or extra shares for the long hold.
