This is my opinion only. Since hole NOT-09-49, Noront messed up with the direction of the extension which was towards south-east. Maybe J. H.s departure was related to unsuccessful drilling efforts since hole 49. I was told when other company's executive was flying over the area by helicopter, he saw Noront's drill was placed at near FNC camp. If you take a look at the drilling results, intersected ni/cu mineralization from hole 55 to 58 was occurred from 400-600 metres in depth, probably in one direction.
The hole NOT-09-49 at north-west contact of Eagle One was a straight vertical hole and the drill intersected 327 metres of mineralization, it's got to be extended to some direction. It appears Noront wasn't successful in their first theory and has been trying to evaluate new borehole geophysics (BHEM) around the hole NOT-09-49 in all directions since Aug. 20th to assist in the interpretation of the nickel-copper-PGE mineralization and to assist in targeting future drill holes. I hope they soon determine (or determined) the direction and bring up good results to the shareholders.
At present, four drills are currently active, testing the dimensions of the Eagle's Nest lenses in all directions with the intent of increasing the nickel-copper and PGM resources.
All drill holes are currently evaluated using borehole geophysics (BHEM) to assist in the interpretation of the nickel-copper-PGE mineralization and to assist in targeting future drill holes.
