Notster's diagram caused me to think about what's below Lense C. My question is, what method would be used to survey below lense C and would they for example have to be in lense B or C to test what's below. Or can they do all this from above, in which case they would already know what is or isn't below lense C.

If this has been asked before, please direct me to the post that answers this question. Thanks GEO-men.
