What a shame.

This forum is but a shell of what it once was. Can you say degeneration? There was a time when we (does not include all you unethical ulterior motivted...) here on the forum shared valuable DD. When we first started, I was pretty green but thanks to many of you I am not so much anymore.

I suspect that many old-time respected posters whom I would name, but will not for likelihood of omitting some do not participate as they are also fed up of the crap that breeds here.

This is in all likelihood my last post here.

A few parting thoughts.

Most importantly, this forum does not influence my investment decision with respect Noront nor should it for anybody who has done their own DD and everyone should discount the drivel (correct obg?) posted here. Maybe one day again there will be a responsible message board that subscribes to ethics. (Wes, you said something to the effect about a new Noront initiated blog didn't you?) Wouldn't it be interesting to know how many shares everybody who posts here owns? I suspect that the majority of those responsible for the disruption of this forum and defection of respected posters own negligable shares. (If any) Most of you can discount this as you do not know me from Adam but each time our share price changes by one cent, my portfolio changes by thousands of dollars. My rose coloured Not glasses are a little cloudy of late.

I have stated before that I am an investor, not a trader. Again, Milsy was pretty green especially from a trading perspective. Boy, it would have been nice to have sold in late '07. Ces la vie. Although I will not be partaking in this blog, I will not be changing my strategy with respect to my holdings. I was fortunate to have held a large position in NOT previous to JBL coming into the picture and since that time, there has not been any bad news. For those of you true longs sticking around for the end-game, we are in the same camp. (you too understand the potential that NOT offers which I truly believe is a far cry from where we sit today) One day we will congregate on an island and I'm buying the beverages.

What is Noront's strategy? Wish I knew. There is certainly creedence to Rosehill's post today that offers opinion that NOT pumped via hole 49 to PP. IMHO, Rosehill is bang on and I am hopeful this tactic doesn't ultimately PO the PP subscribers again. Much is going on behind he scenes to which we are not privy. However, it does concern me that a lot seems to be happening with respect to area plays and Noront seems to have alienated themselves. Not to mention the fact we haven't had news on assays that should be complete. Also, the Joe Hamilton fan club said what? Alright, it wasn't the fan club, it was the cheerleader of the fan club - Joe himself - "without nickel..."

Alright, to what motivated me to post. The blog degeneration. Cavedude, I was reading the forum today and your posts graced the message board no less than 23 times. I find it curious that you are able to post throughout the day 23 times and yet as per your post the other day, you don't have time:

"Welcome aboard! :-). As for an NR, there should be one fairly soon as they have core they are assaying as we speak. Anyone know which holes are in for assay? I'm sorry I don't have the answer, between being full time in University and working full time my research time is at a premium"

I am curious how how your studing and research is going in light of the fact that you are here continually ever day with your time at a premium? I am also suspicious in that your country of residence is Australia. Shouldn't you maybe be sleeping while we are blogging?

My example here is specific to cavedude. (While it's liklely my last post, I have to also highlight hgs225. I have called you out before hgs225 but you certainy have perseverance. You have been here subtly bashing for how long? You must be paid well.) This forum is running amuck with members with less than desirable motives. As Goldstar40 posted the other day, the bashers are not bashing stocks not worthy.

It certainly didn't feel like it today but all my DD tells me we got a good thing going.
