Xstrata was in the area before Cliffs. I always felt that Noront initiated a 43-01 on the chromite after discussions with Xstrata. I wonder if the real games are being played by Xstrata and Cliffs and NOT and FWR are simply pawns.

Richard was in charge when Xstrata toured the area. You remember how upbeat Richard was over the chromite discovery. What drove Richard to be so positive about chromite when his neighbours felt that chromite had no value. Was it his discussions with Xstrata? Now everyone is talking chromite.
