The offer and all subsequent activity took place between market close on Friday and market open Monday morning. No-one had the ability to profit from this news/or rumour that a deal was happening. Time is of the essence once a deal is offered to make it public and the regulators would look at this positively. And frankly, what junior mining company BoD doesn't have a plan or at least discussed what it would take to sell?
