Consolidation is and has been a common theme on most of these forums. There were times when it seemed that no one play could survive without the others. Safety in numbers which help infrastructure etc..

First of all Cliffs has no use for nickel. They have no interest in it. All they want is the chrome and are willing to build a rail line to get it.

What we have here is a situation where NOT has decided to take on Cliffs. There will no doubt be a counter offer soon. Noront will be required to raise the ante. When that happens, it will begin. The bidding we have been waiting for.

It is the bidding that will push up the sp so do not be too anxious for all of this to be resolved. Keep in mind that plays like xtrata are in the background as well. This is just beginning.

There has been nothing in the way of news that would make FWR any more attractive than it was a month ago.

The thing about FWR that is so attractive Mike is first of all the chrome. Second, Cliffs wants the chrome that belongs to FWR. Simple as that.

Now we wait and whoever wins we just pray that whoever winds up running things is straight up.

Who sits at the table? That what I want to know. Will it be Wes? On his say? Or will there be someone on his Blackberry giving orders. I hope its the former.
