Tax question re offer

Am I right in assuming that within my 'cash' account there will be no tax impact from the FWR deal? I don't have to claim any capital gain on my FWR shares.... I just add the cost of my FWR shares to my NOT pool and divide by the new total shares to get my new ACB of NOT.

I crunched the numbers this morning & am very happy with the new ACB for NOT and will be saying yes when the second offer arrives from Wes.( I'm greedy)
