Message: Let's straighten out some of the facts

Anti, I agree, I think that the area players are smart enough to realize a turf war is not in anyone's best interest, IMHO I see Mac's comments about the merger as being a negotiation ploy to up the price and get the best value he can... cudo's to him. I too hold both (although NOT is by far the biggest chunk) and see a benefit either way.

Many a poster has said all along that the drills will do the talking, well how much more can they talk if we consolidate some of the play, increase the size of the kitty to cover the drilling costs, perhaps gain some economies of scale on other costs (camps, transportation, etc.), create a larger more correlated drill program, focus on the targets of value from a single management perspective.

I see all this as good for the area (I also hold other players) and exceptionally good for NOT AND FWR.
