Most of the drilling reported here pertains to lens B and I am very happy that the grades are much, much improved from the original 1.2% nickel reported in hole 49. Other assays from Sept 15 indicated this as well but this has more value IMO. These grades ressemble Eagle 1 results much more and that is very enouraging.
The lenses being 1 long deposit will add to tonnage but more drilling necessary. There is no break down the door type hole in here but scissor holes are not like vertical holes, much harder to get that type of long intercepts with high grades on a steep plunging ore body which this is.
Lens C was only drilled with the directional drill, 2 holes and results were poor but at this depth, not a big surprise. That lens still had 178M of 2.4% nickel, a very, very significant hit. I feel, and obviously Noront as well that there is much more down there so they have brought in a second deep drill. A good decision IMO.
The nice thing for us small fish retail shareholder is that we did not sell off when this first came out which in the past was customary. I am hoping that this is a result of leaks being plugged!
Looking forward to the AGM this afternoon.
