1) If the majority of a company's shares are held by institutions, how does the SP rise as NR come out? Are institutions along for the long ride to buy out with these JV's so as long as SP doesn't slip below their buy in they are happy. Also aren't many institutions shorters.

How does this work?

2) Also, regarding distrust of NOT BOD. I think this all pertains to stock price manipulation.

Can any of you describe in detail how this works or give links. In NOT's BOD's case, how do they benefit?
