I can't see Mac doing anything other than recommending rejection - the psychology is all wrong - better to be President of something small and independent (in the sort term) than to be absorbed by a larger entity - until it is taken over too. So it will be as we were it seems. Of course if Mac states why he is rejecting, it may give Noront a starting point for another round
