Unfortunately, the fat in that burger could well kill you.
Question: Windfall gold, from all reports, was much better then what is being touted now. If it was spun off because it was considered too costly (or not enough of it - who knows ? it wasn't explored enough) to go after, what makes this last news so great that everyone on this forum is jumping on the band wagon?
Please don't drag out that they had to concentrate on the cromite. I know all those arguments. Don't drag out that Windfall was in a different geographical area - etc., etc.
IMHP this was the only trick NOT had up its sleeve, at this time, to counter FWR'S circular to its shareholders to not tender their shares.
What some call a 'barnburner' is just smoke and mirrors and may well be the downfall of NOT. They are going to have to do better then this to get me to tender my FWR shares.
As some have said this is the first period of a game, with more periods to come. Too bad it is a dirty game (just like hockey when the gloves come off and the players start fighting instead of using their skills as players). Who likes to watch that?? And who wants a hostile takeover?
If at some point NOT and FWR come to an amicable agreement, I'm all for it.
I hold both NOT and FWR shares. At these prices I'm ready to buy more FWR shares.
And as some have said, I hope retailers make money, rather than seeing the "hedgies" grab what should be our wealth.
Gleegee.
