Lens A is indeed joined with lens B and C.

Slides 39 and 40 of the presentation at the Analyst Workshop of Oct 21, 2009 show lens A clearly joined with B and C. It's mentioned in the part "Eagle's nest update" by Niemi and Atkinson, so I suppose it's a conclusion from their geophysics.
