No, I think most feel that FWR is not being given the time needed to prove what their SP is actually worth, and therefore, this offer is opportunistic.
Not's offer is based on today's value, not on what FWR could be , might be in the future. Now of course their insight or reasoning of making this offer is naturally that FWR could add value to Noront overall somewhere in the future. That's simply why they made the offer. Again as many have already pointed out this is not a cash offer, it is a merger of the two. Personally I think this is the right way to go for both companies, they will be stronger as one and less chance of a premature takeout at a SP none of us would like.
Probably the biggest bitch by the FWR diehards is Not's BOD/Mac's team. I own both and can see both sides however as everyday goes by I like Wes all the more. He appears to be all about what he says he is and that suits me just fine. Possibly and maybe this might happen whereby Mac and some others join in with the merger and be on the Not BOD. Jus a guess.
Time is running down and I'm sure there is more games to be played (not for the Phillies however).
