Well it's human nature to get emotional when one's interests are perceived to be threatened, however it would be better to approach things with thinking instead. Do you think it's possible that we could return to rational conversation and debate about what's going on in our "backyard"? Could we perhaps rise instead of sinking to the occasion? Yes there are the trouble makers as there always is but it's not everyone. There isn't an agent of destruction behind every lump of Cr. Maybe just behind every other one. In spite of all of the supportive arguments on both sides of the fence (a fence that in the end doesn't really exist), I think that readers are left more with the sense of confusion and the notion that people argue their points not because they are so confident but because they need to be right, to reassure themselves and to take some kind of action at a frustrating time to exact some symbolic control. I really think that anyone who is so confident in their position is really not participating much on these sites or at all as there really is no point in stating the same things dozens of times a day. It doesn't make them any more truthful and as a matter of fact "me thinks he doth protest too much".... or something like that. Snug could probably do better on that line. There is still a lot of extreme behaviour which always accompanies money and it is unfortunate that we've traded clear thinking for mud slinging and closed mindedness. I guess only time will clear the air and the passing of this event, until the next one. This above is my contribution for something better. See ya on the 18th.
