I can't help feeling that the takeover will fail. The parties may merge later and probably on terms more favourable to NOT. My problem here is that I'm unfamiliar with the composition of the shareholders and don't know who NOT can count on. With that qualification it seems that a hostile bid can't succeed at this stage of the game. Probably many are holding off buying NOT until the bid is out of the way.
