I agree, going it alone is not in the cards. But we shouldn't give into paranoia about the market action. The plain fact is that the market hates uncertainty, or so we're told, and the whole takeover situation has give rise to massive uncertainty, so the market drifts and drifts. Yet this should be the time to add to our positions - buy when nobody wants it etc.
