At $30, that gives us a MC of 8 Billion dollars. In the current global economy situation, I would put this as my very top end aspirations.

The key words here are " in the current economic situation".

I would add...with known reserves ....

In brief, Noront purposely got the ball rolling here with their opportunistic (yes I agree with Mac) bid for FWR. The hedge funds don't want to wait for the deposit to be fully explored. They have "bigger fish to fry".

Unforrtunately for those of us with a longer time horizon, the retail shareholders may only get a fraction of what their investment is actually worth.

It is beginning to look like this is a very large deposit that has high grades of nickel and PGE's etc. Ingrid compared it to Voisey's Bay, which is premature, but in fact, it could exceed Voisey's in value in the long run.

Noront's bid is doing what it was designed to do....attract attention and create an urgency. It is possible that the big boys have woken up. Noront's latest news release was well timed to catch their attention. The next one will really open their eyes.

Although I will accept any increses in SP's, I would prefer to wait until we can realise the true value of our investment.

You will laugh at this but $30 as way too low for what is likely in the ground. I just hope to be holding Noront shares and not Xstrata or CVRD when the drilling is further advanced.
