geoprof, you are WAY to sharp for me today... You got me, and I must apologize. You are absolutely correct, and I did not explain myself as well as I should have.

The hand held analyzer does NOT analyze the IUMS consortium, so I have been told. I was alluding to the nickel, copper sulfides, intermittent etc. and disemminated sulfides etc. I was talking about the core product that is in our cores, such as nickel and copper. I believe that the hand held analyzer is quite accurate for those substances, with the downfall being that it can only read up to 1 or 3 mm deep of the core :-}

NOW, we all know that the core can deviate 2 or 3% of nickel/copper over that HUGE core width of approx. 2 inches across, so I won't be making any attempts to try to convince anyone that the readings on the left side of the core will be even minutely close to the center of that same core. That would just be crazy and I won't go there ;-}

Seriously, though, I believe it can tell you the nickel percentage to around .1 or .2% of what it actually is. I will bet big money, no whammy's that the Hoov knows that percentage without even waking up his brain :-}

All funning aside, that analyzer is a handy gadget that can allow a slightly suspicious (or a company who is trying to make aquisitions without giving away any data to make the other company's share price go way up) company to withhold results from holes drilled close to another's boundry if they don't report on visuals. All they need to do is say that there wasn't anything conclusive in hole whatever visually and then don't even need to send away core for testing. Just like the BHEM holes ;-} They were just to find out where the mineralization was going, RIGHT? I'm sure there would be NO withholding of any pertinent information there!!! That just wouldn't be right, now. And anyways, I don't even have a "rumour" that would tell me otherwise, so this is all just made up in my head, and I'm no mining explorer, that's for sure.

All right, good night already!

Herb :-}
