At this time, the question is more: can CLF get 66 2/3 % votes from the FWR shareholders. The current sentiment expressed on the Forum does not indicate that FWR shareholders are happy with the CLF offer, but it remains to be seen what their percentage really is. FWR management seems to be in this for a quick big and certain buck. It also looks like personal feelings may have had an influence on the FWR / NOT picture. It is hard to see that the two companies could not have negotiated a deal that would have spun off the Chromite to NOT, and left FWR with all other projects, as is proposed with the CLF offer. Is it that FWR's management does not like NOT's, apart from the instant cash (millions)?

Seems the best NOT can do at this time is to make the current offer more attractive if possible, (though in my opinion it already is), and wait for the FWR / CLF vote.
