If a FWR/NOT merger was to happen but NOT was to form a "New FWR" similar to what Cliffs has proposed, then the FWR board keeps their jobs (good for them) and NOT gets control of the FWR ROF properties (good for everyone else).

It also puts the ROF in a much better position to fend off lowball offers from the big boys to steal all these resources for pennies on the dollar.
