Evening my friend superspeeder, you are so right. In Mexico they call that 'Machismo'. Many would rather die than back down or give in an inch even when they know that they are wrong. I have seen men killed simply to uphold their imagined pride or ego, rather silly when you think of it, especially when it involves a nebulous nothing???

I have been involved in two wars for my country, the US. WW-2 & Korea. My cousin was in the RCAF in time for the battle of Britland. Those were things worth pridefully fighting for, the US, Canada, & Britland.

An imagined report, thought, hope, etc is just not logical to fight over, substituting pride for intelligent, unbiased thought is fruitless. However friends are now divided over nothing factual, just rumor, as has been done here this past week.
