Message: Re: The dilemma is today....to tender or not to tender......

This entire thread has me very confused. People are actually talking about tendering their shares to the NOT offer????

I don't get it.

If you sell 4 FWR shares today you get $2.48.

If you think Noront is a good investment going forward, sell 4 shares and buy 1 NOT share for $2.16 and have $.32 left to buy more NOT or something else. Of course you would only do this if you think you can accurately predict the future. Even the brightest among us are likely to be wrong.

People are not only expressing their personal opinions about what is likely to happen and what company is better. People are letting emotions cloud their thinking.

It is almost as if a person is a second class citizen if their prognostication of future evnts is different than someone else. People are even calling each other down over their predictions. In fact no one can accurately predict what will happen down the road. Just when you think you know, someone will throw a curve at you.

If people are pressured into tendering their shares to any offer, they are limiting the possibility of receiving higher offers.

We can only force Noront, Cliffs or another major to make a higher offer if we simply hold our shares.

See Snug the Joiners excellent post on the FWR hub...earlier today.

Personally I will not be selling or submitting even 1 share of FWR or NOT...and I have a lot of shares of each.
