I would not be bidding up the price of FWR. I would let the chips fall where they may on the two offers and then put in a take over bid of Noront. A bid of $4.50 per share would amount to less than 1/6th of Cliffs net worth and would be game changing for them.

The big question is, is there a bigger player lurking in the shadows who would be forced to show thier hand?
