Just a thought on Xstrata, with Brunswick set to close the beginning of next decade, and Kidd, Fraser and Matagami set to close at the end of next decade Xstrata may be looking to conserve some cash to cover closure costs. They may be looking for aggressive growth, but you’re talking potentially billions of dollars in costs in Canada over the next 8-10 years, they may not want to be spending another billion or so dollars to set up a new mining district at the same time. That being said Xstrata has changed from the primarily regional organizational structure (that norranda and Falconbridge used) to a divisions set up along metals, so there is a possibility that Xstrata Ferroalloys and Xstrata Nickel have the capital, who knows just something to keep in mind when your reading the rumour mill about Xstrata.
