I know you were explaining Mac's responses to the NOT advance.... understood. It doesn't excuse however that he really is neglecting the shareholders interest being that he could have held out for more, if indeed this is not to come. He could have kept the company going by simply continuing and advising the refusal of the NOT deal. To give it over just so another company doesn't get it is not business savvy. It sounds more like a battle to the death between countries where one burns the village so the other can't have it. This is just about money. Mac and the BOD could have easily started another company with their experience and run with a lot more cash. I understand the motivation and the emotionalism, but it's not just his money in the company. There are lots of options. Simply my opinion. No malice or vindictiveness intended.
