"Obviously there is no surplus of power in Ont. unless they were hoping to displace other sources.
Without power for furnaces, who do you sell the lump ore to?"
Now, I am from Manitoba and work for Manitoba Hydro (Blue Collar, I must admit) but I do know that Manitoba is in the process of building the Conawapa Power Dam as we speak. I believe that there is another project pretty much ready to go if this Dam proves profitable enough, or so I was told... I really don't think that Power supply would be an issue, if this resource is going to generate over a billion dollars yearly for a very long time. I think that the governments would be a lot faster to sign agreements if that kind of power was needed and had contracts signed for X amount of years etc. Power is one of the things Manitoba has going for it. A line from Northern Manitoba through to Thunder Bay or Timmins or whereever would run very close to the area we know as...
McFaulds Lake!
I am of the belief that power really won't be an issue.
God Bless all Noront Shareholders.
