They just don't want your offer. Maybe it's just bad timing, or a Canadian thing or the fact that Christmas is near. Or maybe your deal just isn't enough value for the shareholder. And how much value do you place on ROF loyalty. You might want to include some more value because there seems to be a lot of that ROF loyalty going around.
Personally, Mr. Cliff, I don't want to see you win this battle and will gladly welcome all my Freewest friends into Noront with open arms. And we'll ride up the mountain together.
I listened to the entire webcast this morning and have read the entire NR from Noront this morning as well. It's really hard to see why anyone would tender their shares to Cliffs, IMO.
I particularly liked the part where my friend, Donypee called in to Mac and told him that FWR shareholders won't accept this current Cliffs offer. Then he went on to say what they wanted, including an NSR and the new Freewest. Well done, Don ! You tell 'em ! In summary, the FWR shareholders are unhappy with this offer from Cliffs.
The message is clear, Mr. Cliff.
