In my view Norant needs Cliff's involvement in the Ring of Fire, and there is probably tacit understanding between the two companies that Norant will deal with Cliffs.

Despite the earlier contentious remarks, the Freewest news conference was moderate in tone, and Not's response was matter-of-fact and not argumentative.

Wouldn't it be to everyone's advantage for Cliffs to mine the chromite, and leave everything else to Norant's eventual successor? (Norant will be bought out!)

Finally, I wondered if the South Africa trip had something to do with all this takeover activity? Remember that Norant's attempt to buyout Freewest happened shortly after the management of NOT returned from South Africa.....Oropuro
