Dear bushmills,

Thank you for your message. At this point in time, we regretfully inform you that the ignore application is to be disabled for an indefinete period of time. This does not mean that we do not have plans to restore it - however given technical limitations at this point in time, we aren't in a position to make any kind of time estimatation regarding it's restoration.

We understand that in a community as large as Noront, there would seemingly be a large number of posts that appear irrelevant to several posters. This is natural because of the size of the community - as a consequence there is a much broader level of expertise and perspectives.

Personally, we feel that people tend to benefit from information or points of view they were previously not aware of. Sometimes it's best to expose yourself to eloquent albeit dissenting messages - as long as these are presented on a factual line and not an emotional line, it only stands as a positive conductor for debate.

Speaking of personal bickering, we'd like to remind everyone that any posts containing derogatory statements towards another particular member, or an unspecified group of members will be deleted.

We invite members of the community to continue reporting such behavior using the violation tool or by the email contactagora@agoracom.com.

In the instance a post is directed towards you, we kindly request that you refrain responding to said poster in an equally derogatory manner as your response will also be removed as a result of a violation to the community.

Your feedback on these matters are tantamount to improving our site and we look forward to hearing more from you in the future.

Thank you again for your understanding and for your contributions to the AGORACOM Community.

Regards,

AGORACOM
