Seeing as Glorieux started the storey sharing thread I thought I would add to it.

My grandaughter is 5 years old and wanted an EZ Bake oven for christmas. Val and I hunted high and low for one and could not find it in the Hamilton Niagara area. The week before Christmas we called every, toys r us, zellers, sears, walmart, and costco between here and windsor, no luck.....Vals mom knew someone who works in Detroit and called her and asked if she would look. Luckily she found one and delivered it back to windsor and Val picked it up this week. So we got the one gift my granddaughter wanted so badly....but thats not the end of the storey....

Last night we visited to give them thier gifts....the first thing we did was give my grandson and granddaughter "wish" ornaments...these ornaments are hinged and open and in them you put a piece of paper in it with your wish written down...they were told they were good for only one wish and then they were keepsakes for when they were momies and dadies and then could pass them to thier children.....they made their wishes and then it was time to open presents....guess what she opened first......and guess what her wish was.......She was hysterical ....jumping up and down and saying "it came true" "it came true"

Honestly, you could not get the grin off my face all night...it was pretty special and I won;t ever forget it
