I quoted some extremes but the gold stock I used went last monday from 1.14 to today's 1.64. Yesterday alone over 20 cents.

In October it went over +30 cents in like just minutes if I remember correctly.

What it is, is a buyer who just found out, or woke up, and decides to take on all commers to trade. When he fills up usually back to normality it goes.

Just recall the expectations around hole 49 in the summer, days after the actual news came out.

What I mean to say is, it happens often enough, we just forget quickly the good times and dwell on the bad.
