this offering is being completed in settlement of a dispute related to the validity of the Investors' acceptance of Noront's offer to acquire all of the issued and outstanding securities of Freewest Resources Canada Inc.

Yes a little explanation would be nice.

Not many investors accepted NOT's offer.

It says the dispute was about the "validity" of the offer.

One interpretation is that NOT lost the dispute and were forced to issue 2.4 M shares at $2.75????

This looks good for NOT with the sp where it is but clearly someday the sp will be much higher. However someday may not be in 2010.
